Littleton Firefighter Foundation - 8th Annual Face Off Challenge

On May 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th, the Littleton Firefighters Foundation will be having their annual tournament, The Littleton Firefighters Face Off Challenge, at South Suburban Ice Arena in Littleton. With 32 teams, this will prove to be the biggest tournament in the metro area!

This tournament will benefit the Littleton Firefighters Foundation, a 501C3 organization and will feature many skaters from the local fire departments, as well as skaters from local teams, police departments, businesses, and social organizations. The Faceoff Challenge offers four divisions of competition:

1. Upper Division – Plan on some serious competition in this division. This is the highest level of play ability and don’t be surprised to see Pro Athletes, Semi Pro Athletes, College Athletes and serious hockey buffs competing in these super fast, extremely competitive games.
2. Intermediate Division – This is our most popular division. Don’t be fooled, this division is still highly competitive! Be ready to play hard and compete with some great teams that represent a wide variety of competitors.
3. Recreational Division - This division is geared toward players who are lower to mid level players that are interested in building their skills. You will see mostly D and E level players in this division who are looking for competitive games at this level.
4. Slapshot Division - This is the division you want to be in if you simply want to support a great cause and get on the ice and have some fun. This division does not skate for a championship title, but they do have an amazing time and provide great entertainment for the spectators with their “themed” games.

We will have silent auctions with many hockey related items, as well as a vast array of high quality items donated by local businesses. Remember, you don't have to play in the tournament to bid on these items.

Weather cooperating, we will be serving food and drinks in the parking lot, along with music and fun for the whole family for three days, starting on Thursday afternoon and ending Sunday evening.
